Information we collect

The email address is required. Target platform, target storage, optional free-text platform or storage names, and beta-testing interest are optional. MailerLite also records subscription status and the times associated with signup, confirmation, and unsubscribe.

When you visit the website or interact with a subscription email, Cloudflare and MailerLite may process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, request time, and ordinary security, delivery, and diagnostic logs.

Why we use it and our legal bases

We use this information to send V2K Migrate product and release updates, and to understand which destination platforms and storage systems matter to prospective users. The legal basis for these messages is your consent.

We process limited technical data to deliver and secure the website, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain service availability. Where applicable, this processing is based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable service.

Processors and international transfers

MailerLite processes subscriptions and sends email on our behalf. Cloudflare provides DNS, hosting, delivery, and security services for the website. We do not sell signup information.

These providers and their subprocessors may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Where European data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the providers use an adequacy mechanism, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another legally recognized safeguard. Their current terms are available in the MailerLite Data Processing Addendum and the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum.

Retention

We keep the signup record until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, ask us to delete it, or the update list is closed. After an unsubscribe, we may retain the minimum suppression record needed to ensure that no further update email is sent and to document compliance. Technical and security logs are retained according to operational needs and the applicable provider settings and retention periods.

Your choices and rights

Every update email includes an unsubscribe mechanism. You may also ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your information, and you may object to applicable processing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Contact privacy@v2kmigrate.com to make a request.

You may lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. Providing an email address is required only if you want to receive launch updates; all destination, storage, and beta-interest answers are optional.

Tracking and automated decisions

This teaser does not use advertising analytics. Open tracking pixels and Google Analytics will remain disabled for V2K Migrate launch emails. MailerLite may still process ordinary link clicks as part of its email delivery and reporting service.

We do not use signup information for profiling or automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
